I would like to welcome you all to the Department of Business Administration.<\/span><\/p>\n Our Department currently offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons)<\/strong>, which has been fully accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) since 2004. In 2014, the Department was awarded the Programme Area Accreditation<\/strong> (PAA) status in the area of General Business Administration by the HKCAAVQ.<\/span><\/p>\n Over the past few years, the BBA (Hons) programme and its curriculum has been refined and improved continuously through benchmarking against local and overseas universities.\u00a0\u00a0 It has become a consolidated business curriculum with a strong focus on the areas of General Management<\/strong>, Human Resource Management<\/strong> and Marketing<\/strong>. We aim to foster our students\u2019 leadership skills, build up their capacity to bridge theory with practice in these areas, and provide them with a strong professional network with both alumni and the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n In response to the rising demand for socially responsible business leaders who can keep abreast of the fast-changing and globalized business world, we have devoted every effort to nurture our students with different business perspectives and training. We also develop in our students a wide range of skills and competencies by active learning activities, such as case studies, group projects, internships, mentorship programme, leadership programme and overseas exchanges, with the ultimate goal of preparing our students to become well-rounded business leaders in their field of choice, and keeping\u00a0high ethical standards<\/strong>, accountability<\/strong> and integrity.\u00a0 <\/strong>Our programme, with its distinctive features will no doubt enhance our graduates\u2019 employability in face of an increasingly competitive business environment.<\/span><\/p>\n We are committed to providing quality business education for students, which cannot be achieved without a team of well-experienced and devoted teaching staff. Our faculty members work together as a team in creating, developing and refining the programme and the curriculum, and are passionate about and devoted to both teaching and research, preparing our BBA students for future career in business and academia.<\/span><\/p>\n At the end of the day, we hope that our students will all have an enjoyable and enriching study experience during their stay with us, and we fully expect that they will graduate with the commitment and motivation to become responsible persons who can contribute significantly to the well-being of our society.<\/span><\/p>\n I encourage you to visit our Department\u2019s webpage and our campus to further discover our educational philosophy, learn more about our BBA (Hons) program and connect with us.
